Below are a number of loan
programs available to help you start or expand your

SEDA-COG Microloan Fund The SEDA-COG Microloan fund was created with funding from the US Small Business Administration to provide small business loans to eligible entrepreneurs in SEDA-COG's 11-county service area to start a new business or expand an existing business.
Machinery and Equipment Loan Fund (MELF) This Fund was created to stimulate the growth and assist in the retention of mature Pennsylvania businesses by providing low-interest financing for machinery and equipment.
Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority (PEDFA) - Conventional Bond Program This program provides financing to promote job creation through assistance to all business projects, other than certain residential units.
Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority (PEDFA)- Tax-Exempt Bond Program The purpose of this program is to provide financing to promote job creation through assistance to manufacturing firms, 501(c)(3) facilities, and certain other exempt facilities.
Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) PIDA's goal is to stimulate economic activity in areas of high unemployment by making long-term, low-interest business loans.
Revolving Loan Funds (RLF) These funds are dedicated for assisting small business expansion projects by leveraging private funds with low-cost, intermediate-term loan funds.
Rural Development Intermediary Relending Program (IRP) This Program assists with the creation of long-term new employment opportunities through low-interest loans to businesses. IRP will target assistance to businesses in rural areas where job retention/creation potential is greatest.
SBA Export Working Capital Loan Program (SBA EWCP) This loan program provides working capital funds which will allow businesses to complete export sales. EWCP provides repayment guaranties to commercial lenders.
SEDA-COG Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Machinery & Equipment Grant Program (OVR) This program provides grants to businesses to purchase equipment that will facilitate the employment of persons with severe disabilities in full-time unsubsidized positions.
Small Business Administration 504 Program (SBA 504) If you're a healthy business whose expansion plans call for the investment and use of real estate or equipment, you may qualify for 90% financing through the 504 Loan Program.
Small Business First Fund (SBF) This low-interest loan funds capital development projects for Manufacturers, and is based on the creation of long-term net new employment opportunities.
